Don´t forget your wedding anniversary, unless you have a tolerant partner

A wedding anniversary is important for every wife. Unfortunately, every second man forgets this special day, statistically seen. But those who do not, give often a little present to the woman of their heart. These gifts can be red roses, for instant, or a weekend trip to Paris. Maybe this depends on how long the couple is married already. A wedding anniversary can be a bright day as well as a dark one, in case the partner forgets it. A wedding anniversary that is put on a special date like 01/01/2001 or 08/08/2008 cannot be forgotten that easily. Therefore, many couples choose those remarkable dates. But it is said that those marriages do not last as long as other ones. But the churches are full on those days because they are very required, especially with those couples who marry for the first time. Probably the meaning of a wedding anniversary declines with the years and the partner is easier ready to forgive a forgotten one.
Couples who are married for a very long time, like 50 years, celebrate their golden marriage. In our modern time this is not very common any more, because most people separate after seven years in average. Especially in Great Britain the divorce rate is very high, unfortunately.
So it is hard work to keep a marriage calm, safe and long-lasting. Nevertheless few and fewer people marry at all. Today it is common to live together without being married. However, a marriage provides safety and it is more conventional.
